If my software has saved you time, solved a problem, or become part of your workflow, please consider supporting my work. Every contribution helps me spend more time maintaining and improving the tools you use.
Donate a total of $25 or more and you can join my private Discord server to chat with me and other users. It does not have to be $25 per month: a one-time donation or smaller donations that add up to $25 both qualify.
GitHub Sponsors is the best way to support my work because GitHub does not charge fees, so your entire contribution reaches me.
If you need direct, private support by email, the $50 monthly tier includes it.
Prefer to make a one-time donation? PayPal is a quick and easy option.
If you already use Patreon or prefer recurring support there, you can become a patron.
After donating a total of $25 or more, email stefaNStefansundinCom with your donation method and the email address used. Once I have verified the donation, I will send your invite.
No. It can be one donation or multiple donations over several months that add up to at least $25.
Yes. Once you've gotten access, you do not need to keep donating to remain in the server.
Discord currently seems like the best trade-off: it has a low barrier to entry, works well for community conversations, and, well, it is what the cool kids use these days. If something better comes along, we can migrate. For now, Discord seems like the best option.
Yes. Email stefaNStefansundinCom with the donation method, email address used, and approximate dates. If your total support is at least $25, I will send your Discord invite.
Please open a public issue in the relevant GitHub repository. Public issues let other users contribute ideas, confirm bugs, and submit fixes. Once you have opened an issue, you can post the link in Discord and I will try to look at it sooner.
No. Donations support the project as a whole, but they do not guarantee that a particular feature will be added to an official release. I still need to consider whether a change is useful, maintainable, and appropriate for everyone who uses the software.
Possibly. For sufficiently sponsored work, I can create a long-lived custom branch and provide ready-to-use binaries, even when the change is not suitable for integration to the project. The required sponsorship depends on the scope and ongoing maintenance involved, so these arrangements can be discussed case by case. Start by opening a GitHub issue, or email me if the request needs to remain private.
Please use GitHub Issues or Discord for general support questions so answers can help other users too. Email is best reserved for donation verification, private custom-work inquiries, and other matters that should not be public. The $50 monthly GitHub Sponsors tier includes direct email support.
I may not be able to reply to unsolicited support emails.
If you do not have a GitHub account and do not want to create one, you are welcome to post your issue directly in Discord instead.
Thank you for supporting independent open source software.
