2015-08-23 - AltDrag v1.1 released

Released 1.1. See the changelog here.

There are a few fixes in this new version, but I am mostly being forced to release it because Google Code is shutting down, and this is my last chance to notify the users of v1.0 that there is a new version.

The installer has changed to install into your user’s directory by default. I therefore recommend that you uninstall any previous version and then install from scratch!

I have plans to make the AltDrag source code simpler (by removing features), please see this issue if you have any opinions.

Lastly, I want to thank everyone who have donated. All support is greatly appreciated!

What is AltDrag?

AltDrag gives you the ability to move and resize windows in a new way. After starting AltDrag, you can simply hold down the Alt key and then click and drag any window.

This behavior already exists in Linux and other operating systems, and AltDrag was made with the mission to copy that behavior to the Windows platform, and then to further expand it with new intuitive functionality.

You can use AltDrag in many ways. Here are some examples:

AltDrag has more tricks up its sleeve, read through the documentation to learn more.
